A wonderful book I strongly recommend
It is called “Turtle Feet – The Making and Unmaking of a Buddhist Monk” and is authored by a fellow Bulgarian, Nikolai Grozni (real name Nikolay Grozdiski), whom I’m lucky to know personally. (He has been a roommate to my husband back in Boston, MA.) The book is written in English (Nikolai has a few more books published in Bulgaria) and it’s a memoir of the years the author spent in India as a Buddhist monk. Call me prejudiced, I believe the book is an incredible fresh philosophical view of a life’s journey, extremely well written and with a contagious sense of humor. Enjoy it!
By the way, the book is greatly accepted by the readers in the United States which gives us another reason to be proud to be Bulgarians.
